Horror Audience Research

For the planning process we decided that we would hand out surveys to acquire information on what would make an effective horror trailer. Whilst we did achieve some interesting results, we did have a mishap that may soon be corrected in that we inadvertantly interviewed more females than males (which is something of a faux pas considering the majority of horror viewers are statistically male) with 11 females compared to only 8 males.
